Looking back on the Spring 2010 Semester, I am truly humbled by the volume of knowledge imparted and the resulting new vistas that have opened like flowers before my eyes.
Flowery language notwithstanding, what is important is that this semester has begun to build a foundation for the practical artistic skills I have been seeking all my life For this, I owe a great debt of gratitude to Professor Jenna Spevack I am exceptionally fortunate to have taken her class and even more fortunate that she is my academic mentor in the CUNY BA for Unique & Interdisciplinary Studies.
I have only recently become more acquainted with her work, but several of her recent and pending projects are showcased at http://www.jennaspevack.com/.
In addition to the greatly enlightening studies in Geography, and the studies of new media embodied in the BUS 317 course, Jenna Spevack's course awakenned within me, for the first time in my life, a visual arts sensibility that I hope will only grow with time and support the work I intend to do as a web designer/developer.
